The translation of literary works is an important part of translation activity, compared to other forms of translation has its particularity, the translators have become more aware of the different literary translation and non literary translation, and began the study on the translation of literary works. The author surveys the current situation of the translation of literary works, found that the vast majority of translation can be faithful to the original text, writing is smooth, but in the aesthetic level and spiritual agreement but are not able to fully meet the needs of readers. In order to solve this problem, on the basis of theory of previous outstanding translation theorists on the summary in view of the above problems, the "vivid" realm is currently solve this situation should be the goal, namely the translation of literary works should maximize the original "word of God" to impart to the reader. But the translation of literary works can truly achieve "vivid" realm? This report by the Chinese translation of "Rashomon" were analyzed as an example, Akutagawa Ryunosuke's masterpiece "Rashomon" in China, many excellent translation, including Lu Xun, Wen Jieruo, Lin Shaohua, Lou Shiyi four translation is the most representative, this report is based on the research in the first summarizes the translation of literary works "vivid" realm, and with four versions of the method of comparative analysis by using of "vivid" realm of this theory in the translation of literary works. The preface introduces the development of translation theory in China, and then introduces the theory about "vivid" previous studies, the purpose, method and significance of this report. And the emphasis is on the key sentences in the four versions are compared and analyzed, and summarizes and expounds from four parts to the translation of literary works of "vivid" realm. One is to achieve "basic conditions have vivid" realm, the translation to be consistent with the original style, tone, atmosphere; two is the translation is a re creation, to conform to the habits of readers, but also to retain the original flavor, this is the requirement of "vivid" realm of the base; three based on "trust" and "Da", "the original color, is entering the" vivid "perfection; four is the addition, subtraction and literal translation, free translation and translation method is to make the translation into the" vivid "state to service. The conclusion that the translation of literary works can enter "vivid" realm, and clever use of great impact of this theory to literary translation, hope to make full use of these factors, to provide better reference for future translation work.
