Abstract

As early as100years ago, films began to have a broad public basis and socialinfluence of cultural entertainment, and films represent to the world the powerful forceof how the human created culture, made history, created spirit and material wealththrough the combination of art and high-tech.The character of comic in films can besaid to be born with films and is the most original character in films, the comedyis one of the types which is most dynamic and the most appealing to audiences.Thestatus of comedy in the history of films and practical significance for the developmentof the film industry can not be ignored. Throughout the trend of development in the newcentury,comedy has been a thriving prosperity.In spite of quality, the increasedproduction over the years, as well as the difference of attention from the audience in the’80s and ’90s last century. All of these prove the development of comedy in the newcentury, and the demand for this type of comedy in the new century of China.This paperwill be analyzed according to the humor types comedy since1997. At the same time toanalyze the strengths and weaknesses of the development of China’s comedy in order topromote the prosperity and development of China’s comedy.Comedy is different from other types of films, and it is changing rapidly as thechange of humor factors of people, so it can not occupy the mainstream position.Although the comedy movie is not mainstream, but we can not ignore the strong appealfor the audience on the art of comedy. Therefore, we should pay attention to the researchand development of the comedy movie, to promote the film industry as a breakthroughin the overall prosperity and revitalization.Comedy movies should establish a specific aesthetic character, in order to meet theaesthetic demands of the contemporary audience.When talking about movies, especiallyfamous essays on the history of the development, we can’t discuss movies concerningmovies. Instead, we should put it in its survival and development of cultural ecologicalenvironment for exploration, only in this way can its unique features be displayed.Basedon the types of humor in comedy movies of China since1997, this thesis researches ontypes of humor in Chinese comedy and reveals the cultural connotation of Chinesecomedy movie hit in the new century, in order to do a cultural instruction for the future development of comedy movies.
