Abstract

Objective: post-stroke depression (PSD) is one of the common complications of cerebrovascular disease, its not only increase the patient's mental anguish, the slow recovery of neurological function and reduced quality of life, but also increases the number of days of hospitalization in patients, the medical costs and increased mortality. In recent years the PSD more and more clinical attention, also more and more relevant factors research on the impact of the PSD. In this study, the incidence of the PSD, and may affect the occurrence and extent of the PSD-related factors (including gender, age, education level, family income, smoking, alcohol consumption, vascular risk factors, stroke type, whether frontal lobe lesions, activities of daily living, the degree of neurological deficit, social support) were analyzed to investigate the occurrence and extent of impact of PSD related factors. Methods: in January 2009 to December 2009 in Liwan Hospital of Guangzhou Medical College First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong College of Pharmacy Department of Neurology hospitalized stroke patients for the first time 325 cases, including 134 cases of male, female 191 cases, brain infarction in 273 cases of brain hemorrhage in 52 cases. Press the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) was divided into depressive disorder and depression, the two groups to calculate the incidence of PSD, and compare between the two groups of patients in general (including gender, age, education level, family income , smoking history, history of alcohol consumption), vascular risk factors (including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, hyperlipidemia), stroke type, anatomical site, daily living skills, the degree of neurological deficit, social support, understanding related factors affect the PSD by logistic regression analysis to identify independent risk factors. And divided into three groups of non-depressive disorder, mild and moderate to severe depression HAMD score using the Spearman rank correlation analysis to understand the PSD extent. Results: 1 PSD incidence of 38.2%, mild depression was 26.5%, 11.7% moderate to severe depression. Major depressive disorder compared with depression group without depressive disorder group secondary or higher education, per capita income gt; 2000 yuan / month patients is higher than the depression group (P lt; 0.05, P lt; 0.01); depressed group of women, higher than that of high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease patients with depressive disorder group (P lt; 0.05, P lt; 0.001, P lt; 0.001, P lt; 0.01); depression group ADL scores, social support score below no depressive disorder group (P lt; 0.001, P lt; 0.001); depression group NIHSS score higher than non-depressive disorder group (P lt; 0.001). 2, logistic regression analysis, the selected regression model of factors gender, family income, high blood pressure, heart disease, daily living skills, nerve function impairment degree. 3, using the Spearman rank correlation analysis found that the stroke was positively correlated with the degree of depression and women, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and nerve function impairment degree, education level, household income, status, activities of daily living, social support was negatively related.
