Abstract


The rapid development of urbanization, the urban-rural economic and cultural exchanges have become more frequent, increasing travel needs of residents, but urban and rural areas in the city within the city’s passenger transport patterns are different, the way they operate, the vehicle operating taxes, the authorities both urban and urban public transport have a greater difference; while in the current urban transportation planning in the urban public transport planning is rarely considered suburban or urban areas and urban centers far from urban passenger transport system. In this paper, Suzhou City for the study of urban and rural public transport, between the urban and suburban public transport passenger transport into the city, focusing on the need for the implementation of urban and rural public transport integration and implementation of measures to address the development of urban and rural passenger transport issues rural and urban economy, culture, life, coordination and common development.First, from the Wu area of urban development and urbanization characteristics are analyzed outskirts of the city made the transition is a product of urbanization, urban-rural integration, coordination and common development is the future trend of urban development, transport as the connection link between urban and rural areas should be achieved integration.Then clear the meaning of the integration of urban and rural public transport, and urban and rural public transport integration, the need for analysis. Highlighted the integration of urban and rural public transportation in the implementation process faces major problems: implementation of the idea is not clear enough, inadequate infrastructure, inadequate public transport integrated management science, operations market regulation is not reasonable. Finally, the impact of the integration of urban and rural public transport each of the main problems were analyzed, and explore the crux of the problem. To the future direction of urban development Wuzhong and development-oriented objectives and requirements, through the multi-angle analysis, the integration of urban and rural transport development strategy and policies.
