Abstract

Objective: To observe the EA, both catgut embedding treatment with diet control impact on the clinical efficacy of simple obesity and blood lipids, and compare the differences, and to explore the mechanism of action of acupuncture treatment of simple obesity for the clinical treatment of this disease provides a certain scientific experimental basis. Methods: 60 cases of obese patients were randomly divided into two groups (n = 30), select Tianshu Zhongwan, sea air, a large cross, Zusanli, Hong Leong main points were given electro-acupuncture and catgut embedding treatment months for a course, comparative efficacy of continuous treatment of the two courses, before and after treatment patient weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference, body fat percentage, total cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein changes in protein content, and analyzed statistically. Results: After treatment, weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference, and treatment before comparing decreased (P lt; 0.05), body fat percentage, TC, TG, LDL were significantly decreased (P lt; 0.01), HDL, content was significantly higher (P lt; 0.01); catgut embedding group compared with the EA group, body weight, body mass index decreased significantly difference (P lt; 0.05) between the two groups waist circumference, hip circumference, body fat percentage , the lipid content of the difference, the difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). After two courses of treatment, embedding the group of 29 patients cured three cases, effective in 13 cases, 10 cases, 3 cases, the total effective rate was 89.65%; electro-acupuncture group (28 cases), 2 cases cured, effective in 13 cases, effective in 11 cases, 2 cases, the total effective rate of 92.85%. The two groups overall efficacy Ridit analysis comparing the difference between the two groups had no statistical significance (P gt; 0.05); chi-square test, the two groups of the cure rate comparison, the difference was not statistically significance (P gt; 0.05). Conclusion: EA catgut embedding are an effective method for the treatment of simple obesity was no significant difference in the overall effect of the two; Both methods can be effective in improving the patient's body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference, body fat percentage lipids benign regulation can reduce TG, TC, LDL content increased HDL levels; electricity for the improvement of body weight, body mass index than catgut embedding, the reason EA can maintain the necessary daily amount of stimulation , and the the catgut embedding interval of time is too long, can not achieve a constant amount of stimulation, catgut embedding treatment of patients can save time, have certain advantages. Two groups was no significant difference in other indexes; reasonable diet, exercising helps to improve the effect of weight loss, catgut embedding EA have their own advantages, patients can make a reasonable choice according to their actual situation.
