Purpose:To synthetically value the curative effect of TCM external treatment of trinity method for optimization management on D-IBS through major symptoms’score chart. Meanwhile, we are to make comparison for the effects of different TCM types.Method:80 patients from Wuhan integrative medical hospital during March,2010 to February,2011, accorded with RomeⅢstandard, were selected. We randomly divided them into 2 groups,40 in treatment group and 40 in control group. There were no significant differences in age, sex, pathogenesis and TCM symptoms’ accumulated points pretherpy. (P>0.05). The treatment group, were given trinity method for optimization management which were acupoints injection, acuponts pavement and warming moxibustion, onece a day. The control group were given smectite powder,3g, p.o, tid and Lived Combined B. Subtilis And E. Faecium Enteric-Coated Capsules,500mg, p.o, tid. One course was one week, and two continuous courses were needed. The study was to investigate the improvement of two groups’ major symptoms and value the TCM curative effects through 4 levels (fully recover, excellent recover, effective recover, no recover) based on symptom score chart of D-IBS.Result;Through the comparison in major symptoms of two groups before and after treatment, it showed there was significant difference in degrees and frequence of abdominal pain, stool number of times, nature of stool, anxious and suspicious symptoms, rugitus, stool faultiness feeling, mucous stool and appetite decrease, etc. (P<0.05). After 2 weeks’ treatment, symptoms improvement including abdominal pain, stool nature and rugitus in treatment was more effective than that in control group (P<0.05). However, it showed no significant difference between TCM types. (P>0.05)Conclusion:The two groups were both able to improve clinical symptoms. While the total effective rate in TCM trinity method for optimization management group was higher than control group on D-IBS, and major symptoms were got significant improved, especially on the sides of loose stools and stool times. At the same time, there was no significant difference between cases of TCM types. So we got final conclusion that trinity method for optimization management was an effective way to treat D-IBS, which was worthy being widely spreaded into application in clinic.
