Abstract

Coal industry is basic occupation and pillar industry in our national development. It props national economy up sound and fast development. But, coal and mining industry is one of the most serious disasters. Methane accident makes the most serious extent of damage to people and equipments.Methane flowing law in coal is key point to coal mine safety. Taking methane gas compressibility and desorption into account, supposing methane follows Darcy law, we found coal-gas coupling mathematical model. Using Comsol software, we simulate gas migration law in coal by blasting. The results show: displacement and stress curves turn to be fluctuating, but placid by machine. The maximum values of displacement and stress by blasting is bigger than by machine. Tunneling by blasting has little affect to gas discharge law. At the moment of blasting, there is a high load on coal. As time goes on, stress field and gas migration field by blasting and machine have the same laws. Stress and displacement alterations by blasting are bigger than coupling. The impact of coupling must be taken into account by machine. Methane pressure is changing by time and is depressed near tunnel. Two sides of tunnel appears opposite displacement and the maximum value is 7.7mm. The maximum value of z-displacement is 35mm which appears on top of the tunnel. The contour of displacement on top of the tunnel turns to be“O”type. The maximum value is at the centre of“O”type.
