Abstract


The wisdom of the older generations had going deep into incisive analysis to the individual characters of the "mian"radical,and also had produced a few pertinet thesises and the monograph, but the systematic monograph about the ovrall way of development of the"mian"radical characters from philolopy angle has not analysed.Therefore,one cading has been carried out on the basis of ancient characters instructions of"mian"radical characters summing up prehominid research results. In the first place,the number having counted authouritarian reference book, Statistical out the existence of "mian"in stages among department. Made careful contrast, in particular attention to the period of warring states. Then when will the level of the structural "mian", and for each "mian" word, analyses were analyzed it and shape of changing.Especially the characters struction of the warring states period.Finally,the condition of development in each stages of ancient characters have diacussed,the instruction of "mian" radical characters developing discipline of the characters of warring stages period have summed up,the condition in modern Chinese usage.
