Abstract


Historical and cultural city of our country is the representative of Chinese nation’s long history and the brilliant culture. Historical area is an important part of historical and cultural city, It shows the history of the region, formulates the image of the spirit of city , and reflects society way of development with its unique environmental characteristics and groups outlook.In the situation of historical and cultural city being unprecedented destructed and unprecedented taken seriously, this paper focuses on the historical areas of historical and cultural city of Jilin to make a comprehensive analysis. It carries out a system of“one park—five districts—one old city”, and stresses the relationship between historical area and historical and cultural city. On the features, the paper combines environmental characters of each historical area, cards the historical development of the city, and sums up the nature and culture trait of Jilin City. So the paper illustrates their important roles in the urban environment in the view of city. On the protection of the status, it summarized the reality of historical area environment and related protective planning , and indicates the problems of current protection as well as analyzes the causes of the problems from deep level. On the development potentiality, it brings up the potential value and facing opportunities of Jilin city objectively.According to actual characteristics of historical area, This paper makes protective targets and principles to formulate overall control for Jilin City.In order to protect the city’s overall cultural atmosphere, the paper carries out some strategic conceptions focusing on adjusting urban space, advancing the economy of cultural industry and urban image design. Moreover ,it makes classification study from the view of historical and cultural city of Jilin: from macroscopic, it discusses urban pattern conformity; from intermediate perspective, it discusses regional planning control; from microscopic, it dicusses historical buildings protection. In the system construction level, it also states target-oriented protective methods to formulates a system from part to whole.Combined architecture with urban planning , the paper provides historical and cultural city of Jilin with some theory and practice model by multi-disciplinary uses for reference mutually. It provides beneficial supplement for other protecting historical and cultural city research meanwhile.
