In recent years, due to the acceleration of urbanization process and the successful implementation of family planning policy, the number of rural school-age children is on the decline. Therefor, merging dispersed school to centralized schools being decided, which undoubtedly affect children’s socialization significantly. Take the LX township for example, base on the theory of spiritual development、cognitive development and so on, using literature studies and field research methods, according to the interviews and comparative analysis of research techniques to research the children’s socialization. First, compare with the situation of before and after on the school mergering; Secondly, using social evaluate indicators of Stephens to measured the degree of influence on the socialization of children; Third, conclusing the reasearch are positive more than negative,and make some reasonable recommendations. The study was divided into three parts.First, to overview the rural primary school and to explore the significance、 development and impact of the mergering in the view of efficiency and equality.Second, using the techinique of observation and interviews to reasearch the affect by rural primary schools mergeing of socialization of children. Analyzing the boarder’s conditions、effect from social and cultural、family、school、and accompanier to explore the objectives, principles and patterns conducive to the socialization of children.Third, based on analysis and research on the literature review、field research and observation to making recommendation of rural primary schools mergeing in the view of socialization of children’s socialization.
