Abstract


At present, a new history curriculum reform was carrying on to the high school inChina.Comparing to the original textbook, no matter on the content or on the form, the newtextbook was tremendous changes as an important part of high school history curriculumreform. Therefore, it is of great significance for changes in the study of history textbooks andchanging the way of history teaching in the implementation of the new curriculum philosophyof history. In this article,"the origins of the cold war" is the object of study, which is used to acompare the original textbook and the different versions of the new textbooks form contentand form. On the one hand, it provide a meaningful reference for the preparation of highschool history textbooks in order to facilitate textbook development and improvement, on theother hand, it will help teachers and students from a different perspective to examine "theorigins of the cold war", to expand the knowledge horizons, and enhance the level ofhierarchy of the teaching of history, but also reflects the combination of significance ofteaching history and historical studies.The full text is divided into four parts:Part I: At first,"the origins of the cold war" writing features were analyzed in the originaltextbook’s which under the history syllabus requirements, and then pointed out the gap that itis the difference for the new curriculum standards require.Part II:"The origins of the cold war" writing features were compared between thedifferent versions of the new history textbooks aspects of content and form, for pointing outthe advantages and disadvantages of each version, and providing a reference for new versionof the history textbook perfect.Part III:"The origins of the cold war" writing features were compared between theoriginal textbook and the different versions of the new history textbooks which are pointedout the progresses.Part IV: Reflection about the problems of the new version of high school historytextbooks on the content writing of "the origins of the cold war", which were used to providethe corresponding proposed amendments.
