Abstract


The strategy of university teachers’ teaching research is the plan and strategy ofuniversity teachers doing teaching research, probe the strategy of teaching researchfrom the current situation, the causes and build of strategy, it is not only havetheoretical significance, but also provide guidance for university teachers in effectiveteaching research and teaching. selected115teaching research papers written by auniversity teacher in2005and2006, and27project application of teaching reform asan analytical sample, analysis content, supplemented by interviews and observation,from the four strategies of the topic, research implementation, research report writing,application and promotion of results, found that the main problems of teachingresearch of university teachers include:innovation and forward-looking of researchtopics is poor,more focuse on research topic, a more narrow scope of the study, muchtheoretical research;some papers’ research methods lack of scientific andnormative,there are certain problems of the study’s way, qualitative research methodsare mostly, awareness of citation is low,sources of references and references’ languageare more limited, new references is low; paper titles is too cumbersome, content islack of rigor, standardized and readability, bibliographic citation format is notstandardized; the form of outcome is single, promotion is not enough, promotion andapplication of results is difficult to test and evaluate, the expression of the range ofresults’ benefits is fuzzy, there is no specific data and scope. The problems of thestatus quo are many reasons, there is include reasons on objective and subjective,objective reasons including college teachers are short of teaching research training,whether before or after enter the job, lack of attention and support, which is fromschool; lack of help and guidance on teaching research from experts and colleagues;the recognition and encouragement from students is not enough. Subjective reasons,mainly from teachers themselves, including lack of research quality, poor awarenessof the problem; less to learn and carry out teaching research, lack of researchmethods, point of view of the study is narrow; less reflective on teaching research,research from practice, not analysis the research’s feasibility. This study directedtowards the current situation and the reasons to made specific strategies to eliminatethe problems and change the status, these strategies including strategy of selection,strategy of implementation, strategy of writing research report and strategy of application and promotion on result of research. Strategy of selection includescompliance the principle of topics, grasp the content of topics, master the method oftopics; strategy of implementation includes design research programs, to do the workof open questions, select methods, implement the research programs; strategy ofwriting research report includes clear elements of teaching research reports, masterthe methods of writing teaching research reports; strategy of application andpromotion on result of research include application and promote the result of teachingresearch.
