Abstract


In this paper，239sporting goods retail companies registered in Xinxiang City Industrial andCommercial Bureau since December2012are the research subjects. And four main researchmethods are involved in this study: literature data，field survey method，mathematical statistics，and logic analysis. Especially speaking， this paper contains the following aspects: the basicsituation of sporting goods retail business， current sales， marketing extension and marketingenvironment. Based upon the previous study， on the one hand， this research aims to investigateand analyze the constraint factors in regard to sporting goods retail business in Xinxiang； on theother hand， some reasonable suggestions will be put forward to promote the development of thesporting goods retail in Xinxiang city.The results show:1. The terminal format pattern of sporting goods retail industry in Xinxiang city is single.2. Development of sporting goods retail of rural sports in Xinxiang city is relativelybackward, the amount is not much.3. Xinxiang City sporting goods retail enterprise is a single economic type.4. The overall size of the sporting goods retail industry in Xinxiang city is small.5. Xinxiang City sporting goods retail industry is the basic of sports goods.6. The sporting goods retail enterprises marketing is lagging in Xinxiang City.
