Abstract


As important component of fast expending sports industry, the sports culture and creative industry areshowing a good momentum of development. Due to the late start of the sports culture and creativeindustries in China, the industry is still in the initial stage of development. As the center of the CentralPlains Economic Zone, Henan Province is one of China’s most important populous province, agriculturalprovince, and sports province. The conditions of developing sports culture and creative industry isavailable. But due to the constrains of many issues, the sports culture and creative industry are greatlyaffected as new growing point of sports industry. In recent years, Henan Province is under faster economicdevelopment however there is still a gap with other developed regions. Considering the background ofglobalization of international creative industry, how to adjust the economic structure, change the way ofeconomy development and find new growing point to form the industrial chain become a big problem ofthe follow-up development of Henan. Henan Province has a lot of sports resources, the development of thesports industry is undoubtedly a significant role in promoting economic development. The study of sportscultural and creative industries is a good entry point for the development of sports industries and economicgrowth. The research use the method of literature investigation, history and logic analysis, and summary ofscientific research to analysis the current development of the sports cultural and creative industries inHenan Province. This study is to proceed from the analysis of the current development of the sportscultural and creative industries in the province, for the province’s sports cultural and creative real problemin the development, identify constraints, factors affect the development of sports culture and creativeindustries the further proposed countermeasures and measures to improve its development. Hope it can promote the development of cultural and creative industries in the province sports provides a theoreticallevel reference.The main results show that the problems of the development of sports cultural and creative industriesin the province are mainly focus on the following aspects:1Regulation systems of sports industry, especially the sports culture and creative industries are notperfect2, The development and utilization of the rich cultural resources is not enough.3, seriousdeficiency of high level sporting culture of creative talent.4, Sports culture and creative industries has notyet formed a considerable scale.5, The combination of sports industry and other related industries is notenough.
