Abstract


The Mutual help services aroused government and community concern since the pressure of the retirement service faces has been increasing along with the rising of aged tendency of population. Community cooperation service, takes a kind of important service of the home retirement, has been carried out throughout the country and widely praised; and simultaneously exposed various questions such as: the service content is unitary, the service form is simple, the service validity is not long and so on.The research, is based on the summarizes to the present situation of the product research of the existing community cooperation service as well as domestic and foreign related retirement service, takes Hangzhou community cooperation service system as the case study, conducts the thorough research on the community senior citizen ’s life, the leisure activities, the shopping, the traveling, the community life by adopting a user-centered design; synthesis using several design research methods such as: behavioral observation,in-depth interviews, survey and so on; using the concept of taking the user as the central design; the values of the aged population, physiological and psychological characteristics. The result discovered a remarkable life style difference between two kinds of senior citizens which are home based elderly living mainly to family life and active type of elderly like activities. The research would framework analysis and mutual demand point by further aiming at two kinds of user crowds to carry on the life style factor.The Exploration of the community cooperation system design with the community environment is at the foundation of earlier period investigation. The community cooperation system, is composed of senior citizen family terminal and senior citizen portable terminal; distributes in the community public place, community bulletin board terminal, the corridor bulletin board terminal and the communal garden terminal; locates at hospital terminal inside the community hospital and system administration center constitution inside the community service station. The major functions of the community cooperation system are the neighborhood cooperation, the community information, the shopping information, the medicine healthy and the emergency in order to provide various aspects for the senior citizen. Finally, carries out the user participation usability-evaluating on the community cooperation service system design proposal with the paper prototype.The paper is a beneficial exploration to the senior citizen product and the service design, since it takes the design by the way of life of elderly population as breakthrough; takes the user behavior and experience requirements as the design-oriented; launches the design foundation by combining the senior citizen’s living situation and the overall community environment. The senior citizen’s life style essential factor and cooperation demand point, which is concluded by the research, has certainly profits from the significance for the designers to understand the community cooperation retirement service.
