Abstract


With the rapid development of the communication sindustry and fierce marketcompetition, the current network development also faces many new problems anddifficulties， especially for integrated access and integrated business solutions putforward high class requirements NGN is the next generation, the core of which issoftswtch, providing the video、the audio and digital multimedia services based on openand standardized system. NGN owns the characteristics below: it belongs to telecom net,using packet based networks as bearer network; the control and bears are separated;various advanced access technologies, such as GPON and WIFI, and transfertechnologies, such as MSTP and ASON, can be put in use in it; with the characteristicof all cover, it can support fixed subscribers, nomadic users and mobile subscribers; itcan also offer the security, reliability and quality of service.In the background of a new network of the Electric Power Bureau，the maincontents of this thesis are：1.Discusses the System of NGN network Four layer System；Standard protocolof NGN network（Media Gateway Control Protocol、H.248/Megaco Protocol、SessionInitiation Protocol、H.323Protocol、SIGTRAN Protocol）；Compare the developmentsituation of NGN at home and abroad.2. put forward a suggestion of NGN system, including Equipment selection(Thescheme mainly used Huawei s core equipment of softswitch softX3000、MultimediaGateway UMG8900and Terminal IAD); Put forward the topology of the network; Putforward the realization of Function, Realization the technological process of the newbusiness; Double adscription network1：1Backup; Traffic data and calculation.3.put forward the configuration of the core soft switch. Include frame configurationof the Integrated configuration cabinet the basic frame、the extra frame and MediaResources frame；Configured the data of the NGN connected with UMG8900（RSP）、IAD (MGCP protocol)、PSTN and PSTN；Configured the data of SIP Terminal andH.323Terminal。
