Abstract


With the development of economic, we are facing the increasing demand of board band access of data service, more subscribers focus on the new service base on board band access, eg,3D game via internet, remote education> IPTV and so on, while value-added service will be the point of growth on the revenue. It will be the key approach to attract the customer, provide the special service, and increase the income for the operator.Recently,<the development of culture on national the12th five years stage strategy> announced to drive the infrastructure build for the next generation of broadcasting and TV net, new mobile communication net, broad band fiber accessing, to accelerate the combination of3nets, to innovate the service forms, and make all of the net facilities play a role on the culture transmission, to achieve interoperability, Orderly operation. With the multi-application of broadband business and bandwidth demand increasing, the existing network can’t compatible to the requirement of broad band subscribers, because the large access ratio of cable, the long distance of access, aging equipments, theft and damaged and other serious problems. In order to improve the quality of broadband access, to enhance user experience, to meet the requirement of broadband service development better, to adapt the long term technology evolution, it is very important to develop the PON network.I have engaged in communication engineering construction has been five years, nearly two years carried out a lot of construction work of the PON network and learn on the job a lot of knowledge of the PON network, has accumulated a certain amount of practical experience, the paper describes the basic knowledge of the PON network construction,combined with my problems encountered in project construction and engineering effect and focus on further summary and study.
