Currently, around the world more than 109,000 customers from 120 countries are running SAP software,80% of Fortune 500 companies are getting benefits from SAP solutions. At the same time as China’s absolute market leader in ERP, the market share of SAP Package in China grows up very fast, including a large number of great companies have been putting their efforts to promote and implement SAP system, but because of the features of cross-regional, cross-industry, different business model, it’s a quiet hard working promote SAP smoothly, and due to the integration of SAP application is much more complex, partners at different levels, it’s difficult for the implementation of the SAP to achieve satisfactory results, while consuming a lot of manpower and resources. Therefore, for these groups in the SAP enterprise implementation, we need to adopt a proper approach for planning and implementation, the specification should be optimized through the implementation to get more achievement.By studying a foreign enterprises in China, using pre-configured global SAP system template developed by the headquarters company, to set-up system according to local laws, regulations, and characteristics of the company, we used a complete methodology called Global ASAP for Multi-region multi-national corporations to build systems based on SAP global business platform much more quickly, accelerate the cycle of providing consolidation financial data for stock market, as a conclusion, we also analyzes how the method become the key factor in the project on managing and controlling the implementation effects.Global ASAP method uses a structured means of processing, modeling methods and tools, from the perspective of the global and branch offices the project team follow the Global ASAP roadmap and BIS (Business Infrastructure Standardization) methodology to push the project. More efficient implementation of SAP systems, more powerful strategy, and more accurate and consistent data, saving the system’s long-term maintenance and operating costs. Actually this method has been applied in a number of projects authors took part in.
