Abstract


With the rapid development of computer information technology, Internetbecomes increasingly worldwide popular, and information is increasingly important insociety. The application of information automation relieves people from complextransactions with a multiplier effect.B/S structure is applied widely in a large number of network services, andASP.NET is a more powerful technology based on the ASP development, and morepopularity with a strong interactive, user-friendly control, complex database operations.In line with the international standards, English is increasingly important in variety ofexchanges, so college English is compulsory to all types of college students as animportant course. As we all know, examination of the college English used to adopttraditional teaching methods and manual management mostly. Manual management isprone to miss and mistake the data because of human factors. So computer informationmanagement tends to replace it. Information management based on network is usedaccordingly. So variety of online examination systems developed using ASP.NET willbecome very popular.In this thesis, college English testing system based on B/S structure isimplemented, and it can meet requirements of college English testing with low-cost andhigh efficiency. Using this system, duplication of effort of papers testing and tediousmarking process can be avoided, and registration and saving results are also easy,efficiency of the work and saving resources improved.Multi-user college English testing system using ASP.NET technology is providedwith user registration, multi-user concurrent examinations, random questions, timecontrol, automatic scoring, exam backup, user management, fractional management, andother functions. This system is composed of user registration, management andexamination modules.
