Abstract


From the perspective of developmental psychology, concerned about the youth early child depression symptoms, analyze and explore depression produce developmental characteristics and characteristic cognitive predisposing factors, to provide new ideas for the prevention or intervention studies of depression in children and adolescents. The purpose of: (1) examine the negative cognitive style (CCSQ, CASQ) depressive symptoms predict; (2) examine the negative cognitive style and stressful life events whether there is a significant interaction, as well as the interaction between the two starting predict whether changes in depressive symptoms; (3) to explore the characteristic cognitive predisposing factors (negative attribution, results-oriented cognitive, self-directed cognitive) predictor of depression seventh grade students. Method: the scale used in the survey by researchers from the English original scale translated into Chinese, and then by double foreign linguists back translation and correction. Sampling of Xiangtan City, a middle school, and all subjects voluntarily participated in the test, and signed informed consent before testing. The initial test of 335 questionnaires were distributed and 319 valid questionnaires. Every interval of two months after the initial test, time tracking test, tracking a total of 4 times. The tracking test using the Scale for the Children's Depression Rating Scale, Stress Events Scale for children, children's cognitive style scale, children attributional style scale. Finally, the use of Hierarchical Linear Model depression cognitive analysis of predisposing factors and predict the results of the tracking data exploration. The results: (1) the seventh grade students depression baseline level (first depressive symptoms) and stressful life events, results-oriented cognition and self-directed cognitive and negative attribution between significant positive correlation (p lt; 0.01); stressful life events and results-oriented cognitive, self-directed cognitive and negative attributional showed a significant positive correlation (p lt; 0.01); (2) Hierarchical Linear Model statistical results analysis, after controlling for gender factors. predicted depression of seventh grade students, negative cognitive style (negative attribution, results-oriented cognitive, self-directed cognitive), a significant main effect was not significant, while the interaction of negative cognitive style and stress level. Conclusions (1) The individual's cognitive predictors of depressive symptoms, that is held by individuals in negative cognitive style (high quality of depression) is more likely to show depressive symptoms after experiencing a stressful life event; (2) negative recognition know the reasoning process of results-oriented cognitive predict individual depression; (3) negative cognitive reasoning process of self-directed cognitive depressive symptoms predicted; (4) is from late childhood to adolescence Research and analysis of the transition period of the seventh grade students about the symptoms of depression seen, the characteristic cognitive predisposing factors have three different types, that negative attribution, results-oriented cognitive, self-directed cognition.
