Abstract


With the rapid development of transport services sector, the public traveler whotravels by car or bus (boat) is the main object for the province’s inter-city traiffcinformation services。The focus of Shandong travel service system is to provide theprovince’s inter-city traffic information services, by the way of website, intelligentmobile phone, SMS platform, micro-blog，counseling centers，radio, television andother medias, to provide highway information, State Road information and provincialhighway information, to help the travelers to arrange their travel plans in advance or tochange their travel routes. It can improve the traffic safety，convenience, reliability andcomfortable. So the public can make full use of the convenience of the traiffcinformation service. The system will provide travel information and services for thepublic travelers when they are want to start a travel or in the period of a travel or aftera travel.The main content of this article is to design and implement expresswayinformation collection and dissemination system. This system collects18kinds ofinformation such as road infrastructure information, road service facilities, roadmaintenance program, highway maintenance and construction information, road traiffcstatus information, weather information, bus terminal information, road passengerflights information, port information, incoming frequency information, train stations,airports, traiffc regulations, travel news, the common sense information of travel,tourist attractions, hotel information and city information. The system achieves thegoals as follows: information collection, processing, storage and release, thedistribution of travel information in the province-wide maintenance, grading,monitoring and unified display.The system use the ideology of object-oriented and sotfware engineering, and the’systems hierarchical design are based on B/S architecture. The system implements itsmain business processes by using Struts and Hibernate framework. Wherein Struts is mainly responsible for the display of data format, data stream distribution and steering.Hibernate is mainly responsible for the operation of the database persistence,standardization and shielding details operation of database. UI mainly uses the JSP andStruts tags to achieve its goals. Putting the public module out and using a codemultiplexing way to enhance the readability and maintainability of the system.This system is running online successfully in Shandong province traiffc hall. It hasbrought many benefits: improving work efifciency of the government informationmaintenance and release, alleviating the hall staff work pressure and getting a clientreputably. All the benefits above make the large area promotion of the system becomepossible.
