Abstract


In this study, from the three levels of human capital, social network , system background , to study the generation of migrant workers occupational mobility and its influencing factors . As the theoretical guidance to the human capital theory and the theory of social support , integrated use of a questionnaire and interview method to collect data , using univariate descriptive analysis and interactive analysis of the bivariate analysis , generation of migrant workers occupational flowing explore the relationship between human capital and social networks, the institutional context of the specific impact of the new generation of migrant workers occupational mobility . The study found : 1 , showing the different characteristics of the first generation of migrant workers occupational mobility of the new generation of migrant workers . Occupational mobility become more rational , the current number of more frequent , more extensive flow path , the flow will be more intense . 2 , the new generation of migrant workers , occupational mobility of human capital factors . 3 , strong ties and weak ties in social networks are important social support system for the new generation of migrant workers occupational mobility , but the same point in time and both play a role in the specific function . Strong relationship more in the beginning of the new generation of migrant workers into the city to play a role , with the extension of its workers time , the role of strong ties continue to weaken , continue to strengthen the role of weak ties . The strong relationship the most important role is to provide emotional and spiritual support , and the role of weak ties are more reflected in the provision of effective employment information . 4 , the contradictions between the new generation of migrant workers occupational mobility demands and existing institutional arrangements . Household registration system , some of the arrangements in the employment system, education system , social security system of the new generation of migrant workers play a shielding effect , limiting its effectiveness occupational mobility . Occupational mobility of the new generation of migrant workers by individuals, families , and society work together to influence , from the three levels need to take measures to regulate and guide . Generation of migrant workers personal efforts to strengthen the building of human capital and social capital ; enterprises to its conventional vocational training , career development , the use of a variety of incentives , to develop their potential ; government to increase reform social exclusion suffered reduce generation of migrant workers in the occupational mobility process .
