Abstract


By the high-speed development of higher vocational colleges in china, how to motivate college instructors’enthusiasm and maintain their working vigor are nowadays two vital points to be discussed. The more changes the circumstances of the higher education did in china since implementing the reform and open policy, the more effective management methods to political instructors in universities and colleges will have to be required. The management objectives in universities and enterprises are almost the same, and they both need to plan, organize, coordinate and control. There are a number of mature management methods and experiences which have been put into use for several decades in many countries in the world, so, in the author’s opinion, we could try to make advantage of these to develop a system that can improve work efficiency of political instructors in colleges.This paper mainly studies on how to attach enterprise management theories, especially performance management theories, to higher educational management work so that would be able to improve the work efficiency of political instructors.After having read relative papers and studies, interviewed experts and done questionnaire surveys, the author decided that the best way to make their work more effective is the KPI theory. Because of this, an effective management system has been developed according to the peculiar situation in a higher vocational college.
