Abstract

In 2009, Premier Wen Jiabao promulgated the "National Health Bill" personally on behalf of the State Council. China’s national fitness campaign will be up to the rule of law dimension. As the country’s most economically developed cities, Suzhou develops the national fitness campaign prosperously, and nongovermental sports teams have sprung up. Good foundation and common basketball teams are particularly popular among the masses.In this paper, we choose basketball as the background, and Suzhou’s nongovernmental basketball teams as the research object. Investigate and study 32 teams through literature, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, field survey , mathematical statistics and logic analysis method and so on. Survey results show that: (1) Suzhou currently has 32 Nongovermental basketball teams, most teams are not registered, and only two of them were registered. (2) Suzhou values the development of nongovernmental sports teams, but all aspects of support are not enough. (3) The levels of education of community members are high and they participate in community activities actively which lay the foundation of the development of Suzhou’s nongovermental basketball teams. (4) The level of management personnel of Suzhou’s nongovermental basketball teams is low , and we lack of professional personnel, and the chief tend to be aging. (5) Most of the constitution or management systems are not perfect, and there are still some problems exists in the management of their own community. (6) Currently funding for some communities can meet the needs of activities, but the source is single. (7) Most of the Suzhou’s nongovermental basketball teams have not sponsored or co-sponsored any social activities, and the inner activities are not enough.The upper managements of Suzhou’s nongovermental basketball teams should make more use of various types of media to advertise related laws and regulations. Increase the input of nongovermental sports teams and register themselves actively to attract superior leadership’s attention, and strive for more social resources, and develop a lot of variety of forms, content-rich community activities in the future are the Strong measures that can make Suzhou’s nongovermental basketball teams healthy and develop in the long run.
