Abstract


Campus culture is a kind of unseen, touched and inseparable soft strengths of a college or a university, does exist in every corner of campus, affects the students’after-school life rich & colorful or not, affects teaching and administrative faculty keep their minds on work or not, even affects the stability and development of the college or university, thus It is of great significance.Every college or university has its own culture. Campus culture has a direct bearing on college or university development. A college or university whose Campus culture is energetic, rich and colorful, lively and optimistic will certainly attract teaching and administrative faculty and numerous students to work hard for the sake of this kind of colleges or universities, because they are of course gratified at and proud of such a campus.Good campus cultures robustly push colleges or universities develop forward; on the contrary, if students do nothing after school, drink excessively, steal illegally, commit violent incidents occasionally, its negative effects are far stronger than its active role, such an indifferent campus culture absolutely will hinder the college or university healthy development, and even leads to a dangerous status. There are lots of factors, including leadership ability, personal qualities and charms of college or university leaders; personal qualities of teachers and teachers’ collective academic atmosphere; social organization activities, students’ general education and so on, affecting campus cultures.Among these factors, general education takes a leading role; and in so-called general education, sports are an important part of it. Taijiquan movement, as a branch of sports, is also extremely important part. At present, Chinese people have long studied Taijiquan movement and campus culture and gotten some achievements separately. Hence, few have combined both together and studied, and gotten reasonable suggestions. On this basis, the paper chooses Theory and Practice of Taijiquan Movement Promoting Campus Culture Construction as the research object, through documents analysis, investigation and research, experiments etc methods as research tools, explores and studies extensively. The purpose of this study is to contribute to colleges and universities campus culture construction and Taijiquan movement developing round China as well as in Changchun.
