Abstract


Currently, with the financial market growing more and more globally, the competition of banking industry heats up. In such environment, not only need to rely on advanced financial concepts and innovative financial product, but also the reaction to the demand of the market to make the company precede the others. So it will be very help for the foreign banks to have such a strong adaptable, flexible, resource conservative and easily updated security brokerage system. Service-oriented architecture for the reconstruction of technology, aims at building middle layer as service applications base on current mainframe security brokerage system, and thus making banks quickly and efficiently respond to market demand without complicated enhancement of original system. Due to the reusing of "components", the cost of system maintenance is reduced and also the subsequent risk gets reduced as well. SOA could improve IT response capacity to enable bank to support real time changes in the business, eventually helping bank to change as a service-driven enterprise.Firstly, the paper presents the background of banking security brokerage and the features of SOA. Much effort is being paid into summarizing research activities of SOAD (Service-oriented Analysis and Design) including requirements and the principles of design. A new combination pattern of SOAD which adopts the meet-in-the-middle modeling process is brought forward with detail process and major steps of service-oriented modeling. Based on above approach, together with current business requirement of security brokerage, detailed business flow analysis and design of current business is presented including function decomposition, process design, service design and building information model. Based on above analysis and design and reusing services, a new general system modeling architecture is presented which to combine original subsystem and make the system simpler. After detail analysis of current security brokerage system, the enhancement of current system to cater SOA is come up with upgraded system architecture. The related SOA implementation technology, especially how to transfer current system to SOA via CICS with mainframe, is detail presented. Finally, based on current characters of banking batch processing and business flow analysis, one approach to use batch to trigger service is presented.
