Abstract


With the development of forestry information, more and more forestry information resources is on the Internet, and farmers’ demand for information is also keep growing. However, foresters are difficult to effectively get the high-quality information, because of the poor facilities, the isolation of the information and the lack of knowledge, etc. Forestry knowledge management system for assisting manual information service is established in order to help the professional service staff work, so that they can resolve the problem that users can not easily get the forestry information, or the information they get is useless. The system uses the knowledge base to sort, classify, and store the knowledge in order to share it.This article first summarized the current status of the rural information needs, the classification of forestry information and the research of knowledge management. Second, the classification system was established from a multidimensional perspective. Third, the relevant technology was discussed. Fourth, the needs analysis, the overall design and detailed design of the system were discussed, and the differences between manual service and self-service were analyzed. Finally, the system was developed by the use of SSH frame, and the last chapter gives a brief summarize and a expectation on future work.
