Abstract


The fingerprint identification technology is a kind of important biological identification technology,it is also a branch of the biometrics identification technology which development most mature.While a significant progress has been made in the research and development of automatic fingerprint recognition, the application of the technology in the embedded system does not prevail at present.And fingerprint attendance have considerable market at each enterprises or institutions, schools, factories.The design of wireless fingerprint attendance system is to satisfy the special customized unit of the actual demand.In this paper, after the analysis of fingerprint attendance on market situation, it proposed the wireless fingerprint attendance system based on the fingerprint identification technology, GPRS technologies and embedded database technology of.Through the analysis of the fingerprint identification technology development history and application, the feasibility of the scheme is studied. Analysed the topic related platform and technical, given the Windows CE operating systems, the.net platform, fingerprint identification technology, fingerprint image enhancement, GPRS technologies related to the use of basic knowledge and improvement.Expound the overall structure design of hardware. Include embedded microprocessors, fingerprint harvesters, GPRS module and terminal system hardware selection.Research the installation, customization and transplantation of Windows CE 6.0 operating system, how to write the code of serial driver. At last, introduces the design and implementation of application of terminal system.The wireless fingerprint attendance system designed by this paper divided into two parts: the upper computer part and the lower computer part. The upper computer’s major job are fingerprint register, basic information management, the statistical and consolidated of attendance record, and the data exchange, etc. And the lower computer compelte storeage and identification of fingerprint, attendance of users and data exchange with the upper computer. And the data communications between upper computer and lower computer adopts GPRS technologies.The fingerprint attendance system this paper studies will have good market prospect and the industrialization prospect. At the same time, because this automatic fingerprint identification system is universal,it can be applied to other areas of the identity authentication with only some modification.
