Abstract


Experimental teaching, an important link of teaching activities, is beneficial for students to deeply understand the theoretical knowledge, give full play to the initiative, better conduct scientific research and recreate. As the bridge to practice from theory and the essential part of college teaching, the experiment condition directly affects the students’hands-on ability, innovative spirit and overall qualities. With the expansion of higher education, traditional laboratory can not meet the demand of students’demands for experiments, therefore, experimental time and space is correspondingly restricted. Especially in medical university, since medical experiments are also affected by the condition of experimental animals, reagents, and many other factors,the cost remains too high. With the development of computer and network technology, and scientific research, and the gradual mature of the virtual laboratory technology, the reform of the experimental teaching urgently calls that virtual laboratory technology in the teaching application could develop from the fundamental research to practical application. This paper focuses on some research on the application of virtual laboratory in experimental teaching.First of all, some related conception of virtual laboratory are discussed,and the study of contrast analysis are also conducted between the theoretical foundation of the application of virtual laboratory in teaching and construction system and the current situation of virtual laboratory at home and abroad, and then the specific application of virtual laboratory in medicine is further discussed in this paper. In addition, this paper focuses on the working principle, system structure and the trend of development of virtual laboratory, summaries the implementation technique and development tools of the virtual laboratory, and analyzes the design principles and objectives of virtual laboratory, which is prepared for the development of the virtual laboratory.Secondly, based on the theoretical foundation of virtual laboratory and its application in medical colleges, we use the Lab VIEW to make a case study on the experiment of "virtual electrocardiogram machine application".Thirdly, we make reflections on new experimental teaching model based on blended learning theory, and analyze the functions of this new teaching model in the training of the students’exploring spirit,team spirit and spirit of innovation, etc. We choose experimental teaching in our medical university as research object of the application study of virtual experiment, analyzing the development direction and the training goal of the experimental teaching model. We conduct the questionnaire survey on the use of virtual laboratory by students in our medical university, and propose the related solutions by analyzing the existing problems of the use of the virtual laboratory. And finally, we sum up the application of blended experimental teaching model in experimental teaching and what need to be improved.
