Abstract


With the development of education in China, more and more foreign teachers are demanded in this area. However, for the lack of a Information platform, both the foreign teachers and the recruiter suffered a lot.One hand, the foreign teachers can’t take fully advantage of network information technology to find their jobs; on the other hand, the recruiter also can’t easily find the qualified teachers by taking advantage of network information technology and the management of such information is also of low efficiency and cost a lot of money. So it is of great significance to develop a foreign teacher information management system to meet the Ministry of education and other educational institutions’ demand of hiring foreign teachers and managing such information and the foreign teachers’ demand of finding a job.This thesis made an investigation on the situation of foreign teachers including the stage of their teaching and projects participation, and made a survey on information management situation of the education and teaching institute on foreign teachers in China. The paper analyzed the logical structure of the units which would apply the system, then ascertained the customers who would apply this system. The fundamental data which the system would manage was obtained by analyzing the whole activity process of foreign teachers including their job seeking, registering, working and leaving China. The business function of the system has been defined in the aspects of needs of both customer and system management. This thesis made an analysis on the major business in detail by taking advantage of the business flow chart and the function module illustration, defined the technical frames of development adopted by the system and made a research on the frame technology needed. During the stage of designing, the thesis made a general design for the system and established the logical model of database. The detailed structures of the database tables were completed according to the database design principle and logical model. In the stage of detailed designed the function modules of the system were designed according to J2EE need of every layer. During the stage of implementation, the function modules including public information platform, short message communication platform, system data management, system security management etc with the light weight J2EE frame technology based on the principle of layer and module separation development. While accomplished the function modules of access control and log record, the programming pattern of AOP was adopted which compensated for the shortage of OOP on the behavior of multi-modules. A flexible reporting chart derivation scheme has been designed which make up for the inefficiency shortage of traditional reporting chart derivation. While finished the background tasks, a flexible and extensive task scheduler was realized with Quartz
