Abstract


With the computer information technology and medical technology continues to evolve and applications, as well as people on the level of health care requirements continue to increase, CT, MR, DR and other digital medical equipment in clinical diagnosis has been widely adopted, leading to massive medical data generated, the existing data storage and management faces enormous challenges, running in hospital PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System, image archiving and communications systems) has brought tremendous pressure. And because even between hospitals between various departments within the hospital information system quite different, there is heterogeneity and closed issues, resulting in different medical applications and data sharing between communication more difficult and reduce the quality of medical information services . At a time when the emergence of grid technology for this problem provides a good way to resolve. The Grid lets you consolidate multiple hospitals and research institutions work together to achieve a variety of resource sharing, which is where the idea of ??medical image grid. So Based on the analysis of medical images based on the data source, set up a medical image database and try to Grid platform for the construction and medicine combine to fully exploit the advantages of the grid to solve the massive medical data storage management and data sharing . This paper studies the following: first analyzed specifically for medical image storage and transmission standards, that DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standard, DICOM standard for the integration of a variety of medical information systems to create the conditions, but also the medical image database run under the grid basis; then based on the DICOM file format and image information model studies, and reference to the hospital workflow will DICOM medical images according to certain logical structure stored in the database, and as a basis for the establishment of cross-platform medical image databases. Finally, on the C / S and B / S structure comparison, select the appropriate PACS architecture, and then study the PACS storage mode and storage policy programs to achieve a grid platform can be run in a laboratory under the small PACS system. This design of medical image database eventually be used in the laboratory grid platform, select Apache MySQL PHP portfolio to develop, can run cross-platform, but also has good scalability for future research and development of convenience.
