Abstract


With the rapid development of technology, the demands for automatic equipment become increasing higher. Higher demand for the control make embedded control systems more and more popular. Based on the development of automatic equipment with embedded chips, embedded chips of8-,16-, and32-bit have been applied in industrial control field. Networked control system is the main approaches enhance industrial production efficient and quality, reduces cost of human resources, such as in power systems, digital machine tools, petrochemical sludge treatment systems etc. however, in practical application, the development of embedded system requires specialized knowledge both in hardware and software, which limits the application of embedded system in industrial field. The users and operators have to redesign the hardware and software according to different application of control system. But most users know rare about embedded system development or redesign of it accordingly, which prevents the popularization.For the convenience of application of embedded system by users, who are not familiar or aware of less about embedded system, we design general control unit based on the infrastructural control system in central air-conditioning energy-saving system. The general control unit, which is modified from PLC, enhances the function of control system, and enables the system to work in the manner of real-time, generality and openness. The followings are the main work in our present study.We briefly review the basic principles and structure of the central air-conditioning energy-saving system, analyze network architecture and application of this system. The air-conditioning energy-saving system can be divided into three layers, the management center layer, the energy management service layer and the detection control layer.In the present study, we focus on the development of embedded hardware and software of general control unit, and also the operation system of general control unit. As for the development of control unit, using PIC24series micro control unit from Microchip Company as the main control unit, and the embedded real-time operation system as platform, the system is divided into independent task unit, the system function differently through rational use of different task unit. The main innovation of this study is open up a separate area, which enable user re-design control flow according to different application.The general control unit, if succeeded mentioned above, will be applied to the sludge treatment process. We review how the control unit work and the consequence of its application in details. The general control unit shows possibility of and bright future in application in sludge treatment. We also give examples about how the control unit switchs strategies according to different control demands.
