Abstract


Recently, a series of negative issues such as the expansion of the gap between rich andpoor and increasingly prominent social-contradictions emerged gradually in the bigenvironment of more delightful reform and opening up and continuous improvement of thegross national product.Throughout gradually into the social transformation of China with avariety of intertwinedinterests, the inevitable occurrence of conflicts arise between differentinterest groups and interests of individuals and aslo in a variety of contradictions andvalues.The changes of politics, economy and people ’s life make the problems continue toemerge,highlighted contradictions induce mental imbalance of the audience and result inthe frequent occurrence of public emergencies,such an event will lead to widespread concernand discuss in the whole community and aslo social instability. There are many channels inthe communication process of public emergencies and it makes a great impact.For the toolsand communication channels on which it depends-Network, not only to expand the space ofpublic opinion, but more with the event itself brought to the hot public cusp.Networkcommunication using the written language symbols and non-symbols has its owncharacteristics, such as the rapidity, wide range, multimedia, large storage capacity, etc.These characteristics combine with other characteristics such as outbreak,difficultcontrol,wide influence and easy features to cause " eye effect" can be described as " the windflows rapidly by fire" and "the fire spreads by wind".This feature prompts the development ofnetwork communication of the spread public emergencies must be rapidly carried out anddeeply understood of its characteristics and the effect.This paper mainly focus on the analysis of the characteristics and effects of networkcommunication in public emergencies transmission, summarize the strategies to cope withthis double-edged sword and help internet media to handle the transmission of publicemergencies better with positive lead, supervision, solving in promotion and reflection onprevention.
