Abstract


With the development of new media technology, the interpersonal communication has entered a new era. People widely praise the interpersonal communication tools, such as video chat tools, instant messaging tools, SNS, Email and so on. As we all known, meeting human needs is the direction of interpersonal communication media.This article is divided into four parts, which are the history of interpersonal communication, the changes of interpersonal communication, the existing problems and the solutions of interpersonal communication. Through personal interview, I know that there are characters, such as extensibility, concealing, mixed and multimedia in the process of interpersonal communication. When people using new media to spread, they will show psychological characteristics in self-disclosure and rendering, social distance, which is different from the traditional face to face communication. They automatically transform the habits of using symbols and information dissemination media to meet communication needs, are to create a public space for barrier-free communication. New media provides convenience for effect feedback, maximizing the social functions of organization, entertainment, supervision and etc.In a sense, interpersonal communication is no longer refers to interpersonal relationships, it display characteristics of organizational communication, group communication, mass communication and other types. In a word, interpersonal communication will certainly spread in types of panoramic and tribes under the impetus of new media technology.Of course, things are forging ahead in spite of zigzags. We must admit that there exit problems such as information disclosure, reduction in identity value, mechanize in the process of interpersonal communication developments. People will play a positive role in guiding interpersonal communication without media.
