Abstract


During the Spring and Autumn period, China’s Museum of the prototype has appeared which was not called the museum at that time. In fact, the real start of the Chinese museum career began in the beginning of19th century. Western invaders introduced the first museum to China for cultural infiltrations, however, it inspired the Chinese people to explore their own museum mode. The museums which in the regional of Jinan are essentially equivalent to the overall pace of development with the Chinese Museum. So far it has made great achievements after a hundred years of development.While, when we are rejoicing in the achievements,we should not ignore the shortcomings:the layout of the city museums are still lack of reasonable space planning; degree of openness to the public is not enough; inadequacy of interaction with the public, passive exhibition persists; a single building model and blindly pursuing big novelty are all the problems which museums exist in China. With the museum society continue to strengthen public functions, people on the the museum public service capacity requirements continue to strengthen. Museum in order to play the role of good public service, we must truly "people-oriented", consider the point of view of the masses, start from the needs of the masses, to play an effective museum functions.Now is a critical moment to develop and perfect themselves constantly, the museums in Jinan area must seize the opportunity. With the encouragement and support of the government, combining the museums’characteristics with city’s character perfectly, cooperating with the planning of the development of urban culture actively, and improving public service functions to promote cultural harmony and development and cultural fair, adhere to the concept of "people-oriented",to struggle to make Jinan to be real museum city
