Abstract
With the vibration and noise reduction technology, underwater target radiated noise reduced year by year, making its stealth capability greatly enhanced. And how to make it radiated noise measurements, in order to evaluate its stealth performance has become a problem. This paper analyzes the use of line array underwater radiated noise measurement of a large structure the necessary conditions with broadband beamforming theory, vector signal processing method, and highspeed DSP computing platform, gives a low emissivity large structures for underwater noise measurement method, the main contents are as follows: (a) describes the use of a vertical line array underwater target radiated noise measurement methods, and analyzes the characteristics of this method. After reviewing the conventional beamforming method based after the analysis of the conventional methods of measurement of underwater target radiated noise measurement drawbacks (2) outlines the linear model nested array realization of the principle, and this model for a certain expansion to derive an octave constant beamwidth beamforming basic principle, come spindle axis direction, the direction of nonconstant beamwidth forming method and the theory of the simulation. Then a brief introduction of multioctave constant beamwidth forming method. (5) in the DSP chip platform applications this research method implements an octave beamforming algorithm, and the application of this method to the lake on experimental data analysis and processing. Theoretical and experimental results show that: the vertical line based on DSP processor linear array nested array constant beamwidth beamforming method can guarantee a constant width of the main beam, the target is to solve the underwater radiated noise measurement problems is an effective method.
