Abstract


In recent years, with the popularity of the Internet and the rapid development of the growing communication needs of the communications network switching and transmission capacity and higher requirements, but the backbone network transmission rate and exchange capabilities makes the access network into the entire communication The bottleneck of the network. ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is the mainstream of broadband access technologies, mainly to provide general Internet business, Internet cafe business, video conferencing, and enterprise private line services, but with the competition between the development of broadband access technologies and carriers increasing broadband access business services has become a key factor in attracting ordinary users. Operators fully aware of the enormous potential of the field, their development and service center of gravity shifted to IPTV (Internet TV) and VOD (video on demand) and other new business, but with the development of new business, such as IPTV and VOD, docking into the bearer network has put forward a very high demand, such as video-on-demand, digital TV business need at least 7Mbit / s bandwidth, high-definition digital TV requires at least a bandwidth of 20 Mbit / s, while the current mainstream ADSL access bandwidth has been far can not meet the need, therefore has the advantages of high bandwidth and high stability FTTH (Fiber To The Home) FTTH development and application of technology has become the trend of the times. For FTTH access technology mainly the following aspects: one, through the introduction of FTTH concept, detailed analysis, including the multi-service transport platform system, point-to-point Ethernet passive optical network technology, on FTTH the implementation techniques contrast, obtained the advantages and disadvantages of the various technologies and the application of occasions. Second, the paper describes the FTTH access achieve the primary means PON (Passive Optical Network), sorted and analyzed, and the basic structure of the PON. Obtained EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) is the most suitable for China's national conditions, and to vigorously develop FTTH access technology in our comparison of several PON access technology. Third, the highlight of a the EPON system of reference structure, multiplexing principle, protocol stack frame structure and external interface, provides theoretical support for the construction based on the EPON FTTH fiber-to-the-home access. Combined FTTH access technology, the EPON principle, as well as the relevant requirements of the FTTH project construction, in principle, this paper describes the the Suzhou cloud Jincheng (one or two) residential FTTH construction instance
