Abstract


Since reform and opening-up, Zhejiang export-oriented economic have developed rapidly as the big province of "going out", and become the engine of the economic growth.At the same time, Zhejiang export-oriented enterprises made a significant contribution for the growth of the local economy. However, in recent years, Zhejiang export-oriented enterprises development has been greatly restricted because of RMB appreciation, rising labor costs and tight supply of land. Meanwhile, the question of the extensive pattern of foreign trade growth becoming increasingly apparent, for example export commodity’s additional value is low, lack of own-brand and core competitiveness. On this basis, the export-oriented enterprises posed a severe test of survival.In this case, Transformation and upgrading of export-oriented enterprises in Zhejiang has an important significance to study.This paper adopts Zhejiang export-oriented enterprises as cases, and has mainly discussed the relationship between enterprises capability core competitiveness and competitive strategy. Then the paper proposed analytical framework and empirical hypotheses. Indicators about transformation and upgrading were measured and researched on the basis of using SPSS11.5 software analysis the data mathematically. Based on the research work, some conclusions can be achieved as follows:The export-oriented enterprises’capability structure has a significant impact on core competence, the internal transformation capability and“going out”capability of capability structure have significant impacts on core competence, especially the "going out" capability has a more significant contribution to the core competence, internal transformation capability has a relatively weak significant impact on core competence; Meanwhile, the export-oriented enterprises’internal transformation capability has a significant impact on "going out" capability, the knowledge recycling capability in which the greatest impact on "going out" capability; core competence upgrading has a significant impact on competitive strategy, the technical innovation advantage of upgrading has a significant impact on the choice of the competitive strategies.At last, according to the analysis of the study and conclusion, this paper proposed relevant suggestions for transformation and upgrading of export-oriented enterprises. Finally, the paper analyzed insufficiency of the research and looked into the prospect of further research of the subject.
