Abstract


China’s urban and rural structure has undergone historic changes from the2008to2010. The eighteen National Congress of the CPC decided China should take theroad of new urbanization. To realize the new Urbanization, China should promote themigrant workers into cities. As everyone knows, housing is an important aspect ofprotecting migrant workers to lead a normal life. Living in good conditions, they canwork well. Now problems of housing security of migrant workers has becomeincreasingly serious. Therefore, to solve the housing problems of migrant workers isthe key to ensure the development of Urbanization. The construction of China’smigrant workers housing security system is still not perfect.We need to seriouslystudy it.Ji’nan city is one of a typical representative of the large and medium-sizedcitys in China. Studying the problem of migrant workers housing security in Ji’nan isvaluable.To the other cities, it has reference value.On the basis of previous studies, combined with strategic deployment of nationalnew urbanization, this paper sums up the housing security experience of migrantworkers in Ji’nan City, then explore the effective method to solve the problem.Thispaper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, introduces theresearch background,significance,research status at home and abroad, and thenintroduces the research content, the method in this paper. The second chapterintroduces the related concepts of new urbanization and housing insurance theory,defines the new urbanization and the characteristic, introduces the relevant content ofthe housing security theory.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of Ji’nanCity, migrant workers living and housing security, through the relevant data andpractical investigation, analyzes the existing housing security problems of migrantworkers in Ji’nan city. The fourth chapter summarizes the domestic and foreignadvanced experience, which can provide useful enlightenment for solving the housingproblems.The fifth chapter based on the above analysis, puts forward countermeasuresto solve housing problems of migrant workers in Ji’nan city. The conclusion partsummarizes the work of this paper and the results, points out the problems to befurther studied and the shortcomings and limitations.
