Abstract

Of small banks is an important part of financial institutions, including: cross-regional joint-stock commercial banks, city commercial joint-stock banks, urban credit cooperatives, rural credit cooperatives, rural commercial banks and rural banks, as well as a large number of non-bank financial institutions. Compared with the four state-owned commercial banks, small banks although a far cry from the strength, but they are its unique vigor and vitality, active in the entire economic and financial fields. Their services for SMEs, effectively promote regional economic growth, increasing employment opportunities, maintaining macroeconomic stability and sustained growth has played an extremely important role. However, due to limitations inherent and acquired in the WTO, foreign banks and small banks face competition in the four major state-owned banks obviously at a disadvantage. Actively explore the survival and development of strategic means is that they in the fierce market competition to win the living space of effective countermeasures. With the level of small and medium commercial banks and regulatory policies to improve the relaxation of small and medium commercial banks began to try to break the geographical restrictions, the implementation of inter-regional development strategies. Small and medium commercial banks across the region the most important issue facing the development of what factors are based on the location choice, namely, how to select cross-regional business areas and cities. This paper discusses the development of small and medium commercial banks inter-regional and cross-regional power development challenges, and then studied the development of small and medium commercial banks across the region choose the path and location status. In the absorption of experts and scholars of advanced theory and experience, based on a theoretical analysis and empirical research combined approach to fuzzy mathematics as the basic method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, the establishment of small and medium banks inter-regional development location choice factors index system, Select Zhejiang Chouzhou Commercial Bank as the empirical study.
