Abstract


Urban agriculture produced in the city has a high level of radiation metropolitanarea and its surrounding areas.Follow the development of agriculture and urban socialand economic benefits and ecological benefits of integrating the principles ofsustainable development tu urban civilization as the basis,to market demand-orientedcity,to co-ordinante the development of urban and rural development goals,using thecity’s advanced productive forces and developed The organization of science andtechnology as a means of agricultural production and business activities.The urbanagriculture is modern agriculture trend.As Chongqing’s urbanization process entered the stage of rapid development,thereare a series of problems of social,economic, population,environment.Urban Agriculturehas a unique economic features,ecological functions and social functions.Then,Urbanagriculture is and effective way and the inevitable choice to coordinating urban andrural economic and social,to achieve integration of urban and rural areas,to solve the“three rural”issue,to co-ordinate the development of harmony between man andnature,to bulid a harmonious society and achieving and affluent society.Based on the theoretical study, this thesis systemically researches the developmentof the urban agriculture in Chongqing which mainly includes the following parts:Chapter One: the introduction. The research backgrounds, purposes, significances,methods and reviews at home and abroad will be discussed.Chapter Two: a review of the urban agriculture. With the emergence of the conceptof the urban agriculture, this thesis will emphatically introduce the implication,characteristics, types and functions of the urban agriculture.Chapter Three: with the analysis of its current situation, major issues of the urbanagriculture in Chongqing are raised now. Drawing on the experience of the urbanagriculture in advanced areas at home and abroad, strategies for further developing theurban agriculture in Chongqing will be mentioned. To develop the urban agriculture inChongqing, the key is to establish the modern urban agriculture park.Chapter Four: taking Jiyue modern agriculture park for example, this thesissystematically and objectively analyzes the construction of the urban agriculture inChongqing. It principally discusses the industrial planning, running characteristics andthe settlement of residents of the urban agriculture park. And it’s clear that the construction of the urban agriculture park in Chongqing should be supported andinstructed by governments at all levels.Chapter Five: Based on the empirical analysis, some measures are offered tostimulate the construction of the urban agriculture park in Chongqing. This thesismainly discusses some institutional guarantees for the construction of the urbanagriculture park which includes establishing the multi-investors financing mechanism,perfecting the land circulating system, sound selections of the operating mode andimproving the benefit related mechanism.
