Survey of forest resources to meet forest management, forest management plan preparation, overall design, forestry zoning and planning needs for forest resource inventory work.Investigation of Forest Resources forest map is one of the main results, it can investigate a variety of data resources and design and planning of the content, vividly reflected in the surface, it is the management of forest resources and forestry production and management and other activities essential the basis of information. Traditional forest map relatively long production cycle, poor quality, accuracy is not high, time is bad, then use a low level can’t meet the needs of modern forestry production planning. Full use of computer technology, "3S" technology, the digital forest map production, to improve efficiency, rich amount of information, enhance timeliness.This paper implements the application of computer technology to explore development of a secondary forest map drawn new ideas. Object-oriented programming language C # and developed with ArcGIS Engine component phase diagram of forest stand mapping software, it has the Document Management,Map Tool,Special queries,Thematic analysis,Forestry Thematic Mapping and other features. Figure includes the Standard map sheet forest map. The software is fast response, simple and practical, user-friendly, with a strong practical and advanced.In the. NET platform ArcGIS Engine development, the forest map graphics fast, efficient, concise, to meet the forest map production cycle is short, low cost, quick update requirements.
