Abstract

Objective To study the dangerous correlation between the level of retinal binding protein (RBP) in blood serum and the incidence of acute coronary syndrome. Methods 136 patients who had typical Signs of acute coronary syndrome were chosen as experimental group after screening with coronary angiography, and were divided into low-risk group and high-risk group according to the GRACE system. The level of RBP4、CRP、FBG、HbA1c、TC、LDL and blood pressure were measured and compared between the two subgroups.Meanwhile,89cases with atypical chest discomfort and angiographically denied were selected as controls. Compare the level of RBP4、CRP、TC、LDL-C、HbA1c、FBG and blood pressure between the experimental group and the control group. Results The level of RBP4 in the experimental group was obviously higher than that in the control group (p<0.01),and the same with CRP、FBG、HbA1c、TC、LDL and blood pressure (p<0.05).In the experimental group, the level of RBP4 was significantly higher in the high-risk group than that in the control group(p<0.05).The level of CRP、FBG、HbA1c、TC、LDL and blood pressure in the high-risk group were higher than that in the low-risk group, but the difference had no statistical significance. Conclusions RBP4 is not only a predictor and high risk factor of acute coronary syndrome, and but also a predictor of patients with a high risk of acute coronary syndrome.
