Nowadays with the development of globalization , M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions ) have become the most important approach to enlarge the enterprises’scale, strengthen their competence,and enhance their effectiveness in the global business。However there is a cultural difference among the different companies. The cultural conflicts often happen during M&A. As a result,a lot of companies cannot meet their expectation after M&A。Many of them only pay more attention to the developing strategies and financial factors before the M&A and do not give enough consideration to the compatibility of their different cultures and culture management and integrations after M&A。This is the root cause for their failure。However, the results of domestic companies M&A are not satisfied in recent years, the reason is lack of effective M&A integration, especially for culture integration. In the process before and after M&A, most of the companies take evasive attitude on culture difference. When facing the culture conflicts, there is no relevant correction strategy, so that the M&A project encounter conflict pool, eventually cannot reach the target of M&A integration。So, in addition to proper treatment to the culture and cultural integration, how to identify and effectively resolve cultural conflict, formulate appropriate cultural integration plan, to make a scientific and rational cultural integration process, it is the key of this study. How to deal with cultural differences and cross-cultural management on both national and organizational level is a great challenge for Chinese companies in their international mergers and acquisitions。The intention of this paper is to study the culture integration during the mergers and acquisitions process, and take the case study by A group’s acquisition of M enterprise, giving a detail analysis of the cultural integration process, the main content of the cultural integration and integration model, and the cultural integration problems. The case analysis proving the point of culture integration, such as accuracy of paper views, the main content of the process, the effectiveness of the proposed method. The conclusion summarized the whole paper first,and then offered some recommendations on how to make better cultural integration for international M&A process,hoping that they could be of some use for Chinese companies’cross-border mergers and acquisitions。
