Research on the Demand Force Disposition of Airplane Battle Damage Repairing Based on the Queuing Theory

As the major arm, Air Force shall bear the brunt of joining wars throughout in the future, thus itwould certainly be the focus being strickened by the enemy, and accordingly, the amount ofbattle-damaged airplane will increase significantly. The battle effectiveness will decline sharplybecause of the battle-damaged airplanes on condition that they can’t be repaired timely. AirplaneBattle Damage Repairing (ABDR) is the best way to regenerate the airplanes, so efficient organizationof ABDR is significant to keep the continued combat effectiveness for the Air Force, and is vitalimportant to win the ultimate victory in wars. The paper makes a series of research on the demandforce disposition of ABDR using the queuing theory based on the previous studies, the main pointsare the followings:(1) Construction of the queuing model of ABDR. A state transition diagram of ABDR is drawedbased on the feature analysis of the queuing system of ABDR and related hypothesis, and a queuingmodel is built in the light of the diagram, get the statistical rules of all series length, queue length,waiting time and residence time.(2) Forecast and optimization of the demand force of ABDR. This paper forecasts the demandforce with the queuing model, and provides a strategy of the demand force disposition. On the basis ofthe sojourn time of the queuing system, an optimization model of the amount of the repairing crew isestablished. In accordance with the optimized result to dispose the ABDR force, thus, the task ofABDR can be better accomplished and the maintenance resources be saved as well.(3) Research on the relation between demand force and all the performance indexes of thequeuing system of the ABDR. All the performance indexes of the queuing system are the key factorsaffecting the demand force disposition. This paper explores respectively the relation between all theperformance indexes including the sojourn time, impute rate, and repair rate via simulationexperiment, and puts forward measures and advice to strengthen the development of the ABDRforce in accordance with the experiment result.
