Abstract


This purpose in my article is to discuss the art context of sculpture“localilzation”features and value in contemporary. In fact,“globalization”and“localilzation”discussion has appeared early in the 1990s in China.If it revealed worries and anxieties at that time, now the talk about the subject has a kind of natural ease.It has become more and more maturity with the law of development in art. Of course,the problem about by what kind of artistic form to embody the culture of the international image is highlighted out. The practices in previous years told us the traditional snowlamb, calligraphy, sealcutting etc can’t be an international linguistic form,they cannot carry the task of“communication”in this period, but oil painting, sculpture, photography and media forms can communicate with the world from the perspective of cultural and media angles, because they are art media and linguistic form which have been largely applied around the world in contemporary. With the communication medium established , at the same time, when we stand on long historical background, how should we respond to the world is also the context we want to expatiate in this article.
