Abstract

Nanoporous organic polymers (NOPs) present potential application in gas storage and separation, separation of the organic solvent in the aqueous solution, heterogeneous catalysis and drug delivery for their diversity of synthesis methods, adjustable pore size, small material density and excellent thermodynamic stability. The introduction of hetero atoms such as nitrogen atoms and aryl ring groups can improves the interaction between such as the gas molecules and the adsorbent, thereby improving the adsorption properties of the porous material. In this thesis, two nanoporous organic polymers (NOPs) containing heteroatom nitrogen were synthesized and their adsorption performance was studied. In this paper, the highly active cyanate esters was used as reactive units to undergo a self-condensation reaction and the nanoporous organic polymer NOP-14containing hetero atoms nitrogen and oxygen was successfully obtained.1H NMR and FTIR were used to characterize the structure of the monomers and polymers. The TG results showed that NOP-14was thermodynamically stable and the5%weight loss temperature was350℃. The carbon dioxide adsorption results showed that NOP-14presents better adsorption capacity of34mL/g at273K,1bar than the reported material in the same case of specific surface. The adsorption enthalpy of38.7KJ/mol was calculated from the carbon dioxide adsorption isotherms tested at temperatures of273K and298K. The drug delivery results show that NOP-14shows good adsorption for drug molecule ibuprofen. When the ibuprofen and NOP-14is the mass ratio of2, the adsorption amount of unit mass of NOP-14is386.2mg/g and the system exhibits good release kinetics.Monomer2,4,6-tris(5-bromothiophen-2-yl)-1,3,5-triazine containing hetero-cyclic thiophene and1,3,5-triazine was used to prepare a nanoporous organic polymers NOP-13via the efficient Yamamoto-Ullmann coupling reaction.1H NMR, FTIR and solid state NMR were used to characterize the structure of the monomer and polymers. When dispersed by five solvents of different polarity, NOP-13was found showing nanowires structure of different proportions and morphology under TEM. The carbon dioxide adsorption results showed that NOP-13also having a good capacity of32mL/g at273K,1bar and the zero adsorption enthalpy of27KJ/mol was calculated from the adsorption isotherms tested at temperatures of273K and298K.
