Abstract


The methanol plant is a chemical device which can produce2500tons methanol per day. The material of the methanol plant comes from the raw natural gas which has been separated through the separate device, the other raw natural gas will be joined together with the little amount cycled hydrogen gas. Then the mixed gas is been firstly sent to the Co-Mo hydrogenation converter which is to made the organic sulfide into hydrogen sulfide. After that, the clean-up mixed gas will been secondly send into the zinc oxide desulfurizer in order to the sulfur content blown the0.1mg/L. After desulphurization, the mixed gas will be send into the furnace with both the carbon oxide and process steam where a chemical reaction will caused in the nickel catalyst. Here, the mixed gas will been change into a mixture composed by the hydrogen and carbon oxide. After a series of heat exchange and heat recovery, the mixed gas has been cooled down, and change into another phase of process condensate. Through the hydrodissection device, the process gas will be compressed in the compression process. After preheat process, the compressed gas will be send into the methanol synthesis reactor where the methanol is be synthesized. In the process of methanol synthesize, a series of Major Hazard Identification exit in the equipment, pipeline and container.According to the State Administration of Work Safety Order No.40, the dangerous chemicals unit should assess and determine the grade of the Major Hazard Identification, which should abide by the "Identification of major hazard of dangerous chemicals", The Interim Regulations on supervision and management of major hazard chemical installations ’and "Guidance on the management of major hazard"The80t/a methanol plant belongs to the second-class Major Hazard Identification of hazardous chemicals and the Major Hazard Identification of Pressure vessel. And the part of pipe belongs to the Major Hazard Identification of Pressure pipeline. Well, the boiler belongs to the Major Hazard Identification of boiler. There are large amounts of methanol is stored in the tank, Normally, the finished product tank reserves can reach37440tons of methanol.The intermediate product tank can reach4000tons.
