Abstract

The porous material has a variety of excellent performance , has become a widely used functional materials . Firstly epoxy porous material was prepared using the concentrated emulsion polymerization method , the pore surface hydrophilic and then modified , thereby expanding the application areas of the porous material such epoxy . The main work is as follows : 1 , the use of concentrated emulsion polymerization prepared epoxy resin porous materials . Using scanning electron microscopy to study the amount of emulsifier , continuous phase pre - curing time and the dispersed phase silica colloidal particle solubility epoxy concentrated emulsion system stability and epoxy porous materials pore structure . Found that the presence of the emulsifier , the continuous phase of the appropriate pre-cured , the colloidal silica particles are added in the dispersed phase will increase the stability of the concentrated emulsion , the three dosage changes will affect the pore structure of the porous material ; 2, hydrophilic modified epoxy bore surface of the porous material . The initiator is fixed to the bore surface of the porous material in the epoxy resin , and thus , in its surface grafting of polyacrylic acid hydrophilic layer by swelling method . The swelling solvent used in the modification process , the curing time of the epoxy resin porous material , and swelling time of the impact of the modification effect . Different swelling solvent may be the effect of the modified ; the longer the curing time of the epoxy resin porous material , modified effect is worse ; swelling time is longer , the better modification effect . Using scanning electron microscopy test , transmission electron microscopy test , X - ray photoelectron spectroscopy test , mercury porosimetry test , contact angle measurements and water absorption test comparing before and after modification , the pore structure of the porous material of epoxy resin and hydrophilic properties . Found with unmodified epoxy resin compared to the porous material , the hole wall of the modified epoxy resin of the porous material is polyacrylic acid hydrophilic graft layer covering , and its hydrophilicity has been significantly improved .
