Abstract

Electricity-magnetism and photoluminescence-electricity composite materials possess good electrical conductivity, magnetic and fluorescence properties, they can be widely used for EMI shielding, microwave absorbing, special coating and biomedicine fields. The magnetism-photoluminescence composites materials with magnetic resonance response and fluorescence probe properties may be useful in biomedical applications, such as targeted drug delivery, cell separation and bioimaging.Up to now, the researches on multifunctional composite nanomaterials mainly focus on composite nanoparticle and bifunctional electricity-magnetism, magnetism-photoluminescence and photoluminescence-electricity composite nanofibers. However, there are few studies on fabricating bifunctional electricity-magnetism, magnetism-photoluminescence and photoluminescence-electricity composite nanofibers by electrospinning. Photoluminescence-Electricity-Magnetism trifunction simultaneously assembled into one flexible nanofiber and nanobelt via electrospinning have not been found in the literatures. In the present study, PANI/Fe3O4/PVP electrical-magnetic and Eu(BA)3phen/PANI/PVP photoluminescent-electrical bifunctional composite nanofibers, Eu(BA)3phen/PANI/Fe3O4PVP photoluminescent-electrical-magnetic trifunctional composite nanofibers and Eu(BA)3phen/PANI/Fe3O4/PMMA photoluminescent-electrical-magnetic trifunctional composite nanobelts were prepared via electrospinning technology. The morphologies and properties of the final products were investigated in details by XRD, SEM, TEM, VSM, HMS and fluorescence spectrometer. The results reveal that the as-prepared nanofibers and nanobelts exhibit excellent morphologies and possess excellent luminescent performances, magnetic properties and electrical conductivity. The luminescent, electrical conductivity and magnetic properties of the composite nanofibers and nanobelts can be tunable by adding various amounts of rare earth complex, Fe3O4nanoparticles and polyaniline. These new findings lay the solid foundations for the further in-depth study of luminescence-electricity-magnetism trifunctional nanostructured materials.
